People and cars were rushing past me when I took this photo one morning in Sydney on my way to work. I think very few noticed the lovely autumn colours highlighted by the glow of the morning sun.

Remnants of Autumn
I passed this lovely building on my way to the Lend Lease office while in Sydney. It is the St Phillip's York Street Anglican Cathedral. We were pretty much into the Winter season, but a few brave Autumn leaves still hung in there, glowing in the morning sunlight.

Autumn Smiles
We went for a little drive yesterday when I spotted a lovely tree with rich and vibrant Autumn colours. It didn't take Nadia long to spot the leaves on the ground and she quickly gathered as much as she could for her collection.

Autumn in Canberra Part Three: Golden Trees
These pictures were taken on the campus of the Australian National University, close to Sullivans Creek. I edited the second photo a little, removing the Telstra Tower, a communications tower built on top of Black Mountain.

Autumn in Canberra Part One: Under the Swamp Cypress
This is a Swamp Cypress growing on the bank of the Sullivans Creek that runs through the grounds of the Australian National University. This tree (like so many others) displayed the most amazing autumn colours.

The Old Lamppost
While walking back to my hotel room after work I came across this old broken lamppost. It is situated on McKay street, between Moore Street and Northbourne Ave in Canberra.
