Fugitive Spotted!

Wanted: A silver dog-man that stole a tree!

This interesting piece of street art can be found on the corner of Wharf and Ann streets on the edge of the Brisbane CBD. Entitled "The Guardian", this statue is a mythological figure, a good natured dog-man that restores balance on the planet. The sphere in his body symbolises his energy, and the tree in his backpack our fragile climate.

The piece was commissioned in 2008 by Lexicon and created by artist Cezary Stulgis using stainless steel.
