One fine Saturday morning I decided to go for a bike ride. I'm curios by nature, so every time I got to a new road I just had to see what lies ahead. I ended up at Cabbage Tree Point, which is 22.7km from where I live. Going there was the easy part, it was the trip back that made me think that it might not have been the best idea in the world. I could hardly get out of bed the next day! But as you can see in the picture below (and more to come), it was a trip filled with the most beautiful scenery.
This picture was taken on Skopps Road in Norwell, Queensland just before crossing a small canal. Click on the 'location' link below to see the exact point in Google Maps where this picture was taken.
I've never been to that area, but wouldn't expect to find such a tranquil rural scene so close to Surfers. Lovely picture.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael. Yes, I try to avoid the busier areas and enjoy the quieter places around here. I just need to get out more! Thanks for dropping by. :)
DeletePragtige foto!
ReplyDeleteDankie Boer, ek het egter gou 'n draai gaan maak by jou blog en sien ek kan nog 'n ding of twee by jou leer as dit kom by foto's neem!
