These three pictures were taken while I was at the Olympic Park in Sydney. This first one was taken at about 10:30pm. The moon was full and bright causing some weird lens flare, but I think it makes an interesting photo.
This second picture was an early morning shot taken about an hour before sunrise. I'm not generally a morning person, but wanted to catch the sunrise. Unfortunately I got my timing a little wrong and ended up strolling through the darkness for about 90 minutes before the sun eventually decided it was time to rise.
When the sun finally did come up, the horison was fairly cloudy and overcast, making for a rather dramatic photo.
The next photos that I'll post should contain a little more sunlight :)
As always, your pics are beautiful and inspiring. Keep up the great work mate, and when I come to Sydney, we can go have a coffee :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Monsignor :) I'll take you on for that coffee, but you'll have to come to Brisbane. I spent so much time in Sydney lately that it almost feels like home though. Thanks for dropping in on my blog, come visit again soon...
